An article in August, 31, 2014, edition of The Dallas Morning News on page 2D discusses career opportunities for individuals who can translate business documents from one language to another. Jobs are expected to grow 46 percent over the next 8 years. The pay ranges from $50k to over $100k based on salary, hourly or amount per job or page.
Individuals fluent in English and another languages such as German, French, Chinese, tand Arabic are in demand by foreign organizations doing business in the U.S. Knowing how to work with text is a must - a skill beyond simply being able to speak two or more languages.
