Advertised in The Dallas Morning News August 3, 2014,
edition on page 6J is a Career Expo being held at the Richardson Civic Center
on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. I am
thinking that such career expos are being conducted at cities throughout the
U.S.
The ads that got my
attention had two banners. One banner promoted
Engineering, Technology and Security Clearance positions and Nursing and Allied
Health positions on the other banner. The expo also included free resume critiques
and a free job search seminar.
Companies providing job
interviews include high tech, military contractors and hospitals in the Dallas
area.
I encourage job seekers to
use a search engine with the argument “career expo” to find career expos in their
geographic area of interest.
