My wife and I look forward to returning home in Dallas after 30
days at sea and another week in Singapore and Cape Town. Traveling and visiting other countries and
viewing their cultures is educational and enriching.
We were told that the unemployment rate in Cape Town was actual 40 –
45 percent. However, the people are struggling
and are seeking jobs. Others remain home cooking and making handcrafts as a way
of livelihood.
While our unemployment rate is high, we are not so bad-off after
all.
