Home for Christmas

Are you going home for Christmas?  Many are going home to visit with family and friends and stay just for the holidays.   However, many others go home because of job lay-offs and/or their inability to find employment. 

If you are among the unemployed, hopefully at home you will find support and encouragement.  What should you do?  I have published many blogs concerning job search strategies, resume construction, interviewing techniques, and networking.

Here are my suggestions:

  

·        *   Relax and enjoy the holidays

·        *   Make a New Year’s resolutions to become employed

·        *   Consider getting a job first and the salary and the position second

·        *   Research jobs openings and locations

·        *   Consider relocating in pursuing job opportunities

·        *   Don’t let your pride keep you unemployed!
