Are You Searching for a job or The Job?

You may be asking “what is the difference between a job and The Job?”  I am thinking that a job is any type of employment that earns an income while The Job is a position that you really want to have - a job that meets your career goals.

So does that mean you turn down a job that will get you started and pay some bills?  I suppose the answer is it depends if you need income in the immediate future or if you are in a position to continue to search until The Job comes along.

The good news about getting to work is that you can pay your bills, and who knows you may find out that this interim job is really something you enjoy and provides possibilities that may lead to The Job.  Regardless, I recommend that you give your very best effort on the job because good job performance typically leads to positive results – perhaps to
The Job!

Please comment about your suggestions to job seekers about finding a job or finding The Job by posting in this bIog or emailing at glynjordan@gmail.com.

Thanks!
Glyn
