Executives in Action Provides Consultants for Charitable Organizations

An article in The Dallas Morning News November 15, 2012, edition on page 1D “Jobless Executives Put Skills to Work for Nonprofits” discusses how an organization, Executives in Action, facilitates consulting projects for nonprofit organizations.

Executives in Action, founded by Ashlee and Chris Kleinert of Dallas in January 2009 matches senior executives in career limbo with nonprofits that need high-level projects done but do not have the expertise or finances to pull them off.

Some examples of their projects include technology integration for North Texas Food Bank, an inventory system for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, and a strategic plan for the Dallas Children’s Theater.

Many of Executive in Action executives subsequently return to top management positions, and others embrace the world of nonprofits with a career change.

I am most impressed with this imitative shown by the Kleinerts and encourage readers of this blog to visit executivesinaction.org
and read more about this organization.
