Sunday in New York

In speaking with individuals from other countries about how many of us older folks volunteer to assist others who are less fortunate, I discovered that citizens in other countries do not understand the concept of volunteerism. They asked me why do we spend so much time helping people who need assistance and advice? I said because we are Americans!
