An article in the front page article on May 22, 2010, of The Dallas Morning News, by Brendan Case proclaims that Texas employers expanded non-farm payrolls by 32,500 jobs in April 2010. The state has gained more than 91,600 jobs the first four months of 2010 after losing 350,000 jobs in 2009.
I am hoping that you are a part of this good news story. Perhaps the unemployed from other states will be contemplating a move to Texas. Based on the old cliché “it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good”, I still think that the oil spill in the Gulf brings job opportunities.
Please share your job search successes with other readers of this blog.
Thanks! Glyn
